A new driveway was being constructed at a farm at St Helena Hill. The access was on a steep slope and would merge into an existing gravel driveway. the spoon drain was shaped to run into the stormwater grid at the bottom of the slope.

The concrete mats was flexible to contour to the shape of the drain and would created a stable hard armour protection when the drains were running. The vegetation would grow through and also help to filter sediment from entering the outlets. The mats were anchored using UBar anchors.
