Driveway Swale Drain and Whoa Boy at Houghlahans Creek NSW – 0196

Repair to eroded gravel driveway included installing concrete erosion mats on the roadside swale and also creating a who boy across the driveway.

Houghlahans Creek Farm driveway repair to roadside drain. During heavy rain events the loose gravel was continuously being washed out and eroded.  The roadside drain and cross-road rolling dip drain commonly known as a “whoa boy” were shaped and then lined with flexible concrete erosion mats. The mat created a stable drivable surface, easy to anchor and maintain.
