PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Concrete Erosion Control Mats are supplied in rolls for ease of handling and efficient installation.
- Roll size options: 2.4m wide x 6–15m lengths (other widths available)
- Approximate mat weight: 45–50kg per m² (depending on configuration)
- Individual concrete block size: 160 x 148 x 58mm
- Spacing between blocks: 40mm
- Standard underlay: 200gsm non-woven geotextile
Optional underlay options (on request):
- 400gsm non-woven geotextile underlay
- Biodegradable nutritional geotextile underlay
WHAT IS IT?
Concrete Erosion Control Mats are a cast concrete block system embedded into a high-strength biaxial geogrid, supplied with a geotextile underlay attached to the underside. The mats are designed to provide long-term erosion protection while maintaining the ability to conform to ground contours during installation.
The system is available in two flexibility configurations, allowing selection based on ground conditions, hydraulic forces, and required surface stiffness.
