Valley frequently gets flooded during heavy rain events, limiting access for livestock and vehicles. The mats were used to allow all-weather access and stop erosion on floodway and catchment drainage.

This product is fantastic. I used this stuff on an area of erosion on my family’s property in the Scenic rim at the beginning of spring 2024. Its just made it through its first wet season and I’m extremely happy with the results.
The grass has grown up through it and rooted the mats into place and it’s survived through a number of flood events. The erosion has stopped.
I even had the pleasure of watching the fish and eels migrating both up and down over the matting.
As an environmentally sensitive solution it’s really ticking all the right boxes. 😎
We’ve had a total of five floods this wet season. Cyclone Alfred was the biggest. As you can see the grass is growing all over it now. I’m confident the erosion issues are sorted. Oh, and the horses won’t step on it, but the goats love it.
