Mat: Flexible Concrete Erosion Mat
Underlay: Biodegradable Nutrition Geotextile Underlay
Anchoring: U Bar Anchors and trench at the top of the slope.

PROJECT DETAILS:
212 sqm, 4 x 2.4 wide x 10m and 4 x 2.4 wide x 12m long flexible concrete mats were used with biodegradable Nutrition mat – the mats were anchored using a combination of trenching in on the top side, plus Galvanised steel UBar anchors at joins and overlaps. Contoured and trimmed around Culverts and Pipes.
Concrete mats were a good solution as they provided,
- Good drainage with permeable qualities
- Hard Armoured protection for sloped spillway
- Stabilisation for the vegetated slopes.
- Safe to maintain when vegetation has grown through the mats.
- Easily able to contour around pipes and culverts
