Beach Access track needed to be stabilised for foot traffic as well as Emergency and recreational vehicle access to the beach.

PROJECT DETAILS:
The beach access track was eroded due to high tides and extreme weather events. The track was used for emergency vehicle access as well as tourism operators that required access to the beach with their equipment.
The concrete mats provided a perfect solution. The stable hard armoured surface, permeable to allow the water to drain away, the flexible mat was easily installed onto the shaped track.
Installation was quick and easy using a 5 tonne excavator, The mats were anchored by trenching them in the sides and ends as well as using Galvanised Ubar Anchors.
A hard stable surface enables firm traction for the vehicles and protected the track from further washout and erosion.
The mats were top filled with sand and were ready to use and drive and walk on right away!
