Concrete Mat Projects for Slopes, Batters, Banks and Embankments

Australian Concrete Mats have been used across Australia to provide surface erosion and scour protection for batters, slopes, banks, embankments, bridge abutments and other erosion-prone civil earthworks.

This project gallery brings together real installations across road and highway infrastructure, bridge works, flood-damage repairs, water infrastructure, rehabilitation projects and landscaped slopes. Applications range from vegetated motorway batters and road embankments to bridge approaches, pond embankments and waterway banks.

Concrete Erosion Mats combine precast concrete protection with an integrated geotextile underlay to create a connected, permeable surface treatment over prepared ground. Firm and Flexible configurations are available to suit different profiles, site conditions and installation requirements.
